Folding doors blocked or difficult to open
If your double door is difficult to open, check the tightness of the hinges. Over time they can loosen and may need to be tightened with a screwdriver.
A sticking double door probably has debris in its track that prevents proper movement – it is recommended that you use a can of compressed air in the tracks to blow away any dirt or sand.
If double-leaf doors are difficult to close, they may hit the door frame as they are closing. In this case, adjust the hinges on one or more panels so that they do not touch each other
Finally, folding doors can become difficult to open because they have been installed against other objects, preventing them from opening properly. In this case, we recommend that you remove a few pieces of trim for the folding doors to work effectively.
